Steamed Eggs

Light and delicate steamed eggs with pork

Steamed Eggs


  • 6 eggs
  • 2/3 pound ground pork
  • 12 oz chicken broth
  • generous amount of salt (~15-20 grinds)
  • generous amount of white pepper (~15-20 shakes)
  • 2 scallions, diced


  • Break eggs into bowl and mix well
  • Add pork and mix into eggs until there are no big pieces
  • Add chicken broth, salt and pepper, stir
  • (optional) put in fridge if not preparing immediately
  • Put in steamer, cover, and steam for 15 minutes or until firm on top
  • Sprinkle scallions on top
  • Cover again and steam for another 30 minutes or until cooked
